Vinum is a Staten Island restaurant where we have provided valet service. We are based on the island ourselves, and we plan each night around how guests arrive, where their cars go and how people leave at the end of the night.
Parking at Vinum
We start at the entrance: where guests pull up and step out, where cars can be parked and how far that parking is from the front. If anything has changed since your last night with valet, such as a different lot or construction out front, let us know.
How valet works at Vinum
Some dinners run late. Tell us if the room seats more than once or if guests tend to stay after the last seating, so the staffing covers the late departures as well as the first arrivals.
Guests hand their keys to an attendant at the entrance and get a claim ticket. When they are ready to go, they hand the ticket back and we bring the car up.
Every job has a supervisor on site, and our attendants are in uniform.
Staffing a night at Vinum
Staffing depends on how many cars you expect, how close the parking is and how many guests arrive at once. A regular seating with parking nearby needs fewer attendants than a busy weekend, a buyout or a long walk to the lot.
If a private party is booked on top of regular service, tell us as soon as you know. Those guests arrive during the same hours as everyone else, so the night needs more hands.

Send the date, the service hours, the number of seatings and a rough count of guests or cars. Mention anything you already know about parking and whether guests usually stay late. Call (718) 536-9350 or send a request, and we reply the same business day.

Where cars are parked
Cars go to the lot or parking area agreed with Vinum before service. If the restaurant already uses a nearby lot or garage, tell us which one.
