The first question is where the cars will go. If the restaurant has its own lot or uses a nearby garage, most of the planning is about the drop-off point and the route to parking. If the curb out front is the only option, check with the city about using it before the first night.
Once we know where cars can stop, we plan around your nights: when the dinner rush hits, the walk between the entrance and the parking, and how fast cars need to come back as tables turn and at closing.

Mention anything out front that affects where cars can stop, like a sidewalk shed, scaffolding, a bike lane or a bus stop. These come and go, so an old photo of the block isn’t enough to plan from.
